Research and advocacy, translated into action.

I advise institutions, publish research, and advocate on freedom of religion or belief and atrocity prevention — bridging academic rigor with global policy engagement.

Kyle Wisdom
About

Two decades at the intersection of faith, research, and policy.

I work at the intersection of academic research, global advocacy, and faith-based policy engagement — currently serving as Global Advocacy Director at the World Evangelical Alliance and Deputy Director at the International Institute for Religious Freedom.

My doctoral work at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies and Middlesex University examined civil religious pluralism through the lens of Nurcholish Madjid's political philosophy, published by De Gruyter. That same throughline — pluralism, freedom of conscience, and the machinery of atrocity prevention — runs through my consulting work today.

Before moving into global advocacy, I spent over a decade working cross-culturally in Indonesia — leading education, research, and community development initiatives, and teaching at Indonesian seminaries and training institutions.

Wisdom Consultancy is where I take on independent engagements: research design, FoRB policy analysis, institutional strategy, dissertation tutorial support, and speaking.
